This fabric is early 20th century and should be treated with care. This fabric has been natural Indigo dyed and therefore will bleed when washed. There may be small colour inconsistencies, repairs and fading on the fabric and these are to be celebrated. Please keep this in mind before purchasing.

For this particular cap I've used an original A.G.Spalding pattern from the era which features a 6 panel crown, but have added a rear adjustable strap for sizing flexibility and comfort.

Made using some beautiful early 20th century hand-loomed Japanese Natural indigo cotton, this classic late 1930's Mid brim ball cap will mold to your head with wear. This fabric will lighten with wears and washes.

Product details:

- Vintage (early 20th century) Japanese hand-loomed Natural Indigo dyed cotton / Horse hair cloth lining internal panels

- Mid 2 3/4" Canvas lined fully stitched unbreakable brim

- D-Ring rear adjustable strap

- Singer 32-43 stitched eyelets using an indigo dyed thread

- Cotton sweatband for comfort

All of my caps are handmade from start to finish by me, using machines from the 1920's-1960's. No two caps are the same and differences in construction are to be celebrated.
