*PLEASE NOTE* This is a PRE-ORDER cap and therefore production will take from 3-5 weeks depending on my workload. These caps will NOT be ready before Christmas I’m sorry. Please keep this in mind before purchasing.

For this particular cap I've used an original A.G.Spalding pattern from the era which features a 6 panel crown and a 2 3/4” mid visor.

This particular pattern was prominent in the late 1930’s and although not an exact reproduction, I feel these caps are the closest that you will find to the originals of the time in regard to fit. All constructed using period correct machinery and processes.

I have used a 13.75oz Japanese Milled Indigo dyed Sashiko cotton. These caps also feature a cotton twill sweatband, Singer 32-43 oversized stitched eyelets and a cotton twill D-ring adjustable strap. I have lined the underside of each visor with vintage Japanese Furoshiki cotton from my collection making each cap unique.

Traditionally woven in Japan, this heavyweight sashiko cotton fabric is dyed in natural Indigo and built for durability — perfect for making Kendo, Judo, or other martial arts uniforms as well as rugged bags and jackets.

Known as "Sashi-ori," this heavyweight cotton fabric features a distinctive textured weave, traditionally used in kendo and judo uniforms. The intricate patterns are created using a Dobby loom, replicating the classic sashiko stitching technique that reinforces the fabric's strength and aesthetic appeal.

These particular caps are only available with an adjustable strap. Please make sure to leave your preferred size in the order notes at checkout.
