1960’s Wilson Ball cap (Original)

$150.00

This is an original 1960’s Wilson made baseball cap from my collection. This one came to me from a vintage seller in the US who was uncertain of it’s origin.

The cap is a smaller size 6 3/4 and still fits true to size. There are some small tears and imperfections throughout and I have tried to photograph these. But please ask for more images if you are concerned about this.

The cap features and absolutely beautiful machine embroidered eagle which has been hand sewn to the front for the cap. It also features the embroidery ‘Bing Crosby Golf’ on the rear panels.

Bing Crosby golf refers to the legendary entertainer Bing Crosby’s profound passion for the sport and his famous celebrity pro-am tournament, popularly known as the "Crosby Clambake" (now modernly evolved into the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am).

The cap has supposedly been signed by the baseball great Stan Musial. I have no documentation confirming this is real, although Stan did participate in Bing Crosby’s Gold tournament.

Cap shows sign of wear but is still in wearable condition. An interesting piece to add to any collection.
