Inspired by hiking outdoor caps from the 90’s and early 2000’s comes these beautiful 5 panel caps.


Made using some very special lightweight early 20th century Japanese natural indigo check cotton, these caps feature a longer style fully stitched canvas lined brim for good sun coverage, stitched eyelets and a rear adjustable strap.


The fabric features beautiful hand repairs and I have done my best to represent this in each cap I have made.


Each cap I have made is completely different so no two will be the same.

- Long, stitched unbreakable brim with vintage Japanese cotton twill underside

- Cotton sweatband for comfort


This fabric is early 20th century and should be treated with care. This fabric has been natural Indigo dyed and therefore will bleed when washed. There may be colour inconsistencies, stains, repairs and fading on the fabric and these are to be celebrated. Please keep this in mind before purchasing.


All of my caps are handmade from start to finish by me, using machines from the 1920’s-1960’s. No two caps are the same and differences in construction are to be celebrated.
